Overview
In this video, I show how to animate random numbers in Cavalry. I build a rig where each duplicate generates its own random start and end values, then animate those values with a value blend. Along the way, I look at shape time offset with a stagger, and finish by aligning the pivot point with the Align behavior.
Covered in this video:
🔹 Setting up a text layer with a string generator
🔹 Blending between two values with a value blend
🔹 Driving start and end values with random layers
🔹 Using a duplicator to generate varied random numbers
🔹 Animating blend percentage with keyframes
🔹 Keyframing shape opacity and staggering with shape time offset
🔹 Using the Align behavior to adjust pivot point placement
