I live in Edinburgh with my wife and kids, and work at Glide, where I focus on brand, design, and motion. This site is where I gather the pieces together: a mix of portfolio, teaching, conversations, resources, and experiments in public.

My great passions are software, design, and motion. They’ve become the places where I work out how to bring clarity and creativity together, and then share the process so others can do the same.

In a past life I worked as a composer and music producer, and I’ve also spent time in the world of coaching and counselling. Those threads still shape me: the rhythm of music, the search for clarity, and the desire to help others make sense of complexity.

Alongside my design work, I host a podcast where I speak with designers, builders, and motion artists about process and creativity. Over time, I want this site to grow into more of a resource hub: short courses, scripts, and software that make creative work easier and more alive.

I’m still working it out—what ties it together, where it’s heading—but that’s part of the point. Each project, experiment, or conversation, is another way of exploring how creativity and technology can meet in useful, human ways.
