I live in Edinburgh with my wife and kids, and work at Glide, where I focus on brand, design, and motion. This site is where I gather the pieces together: a mix of portfolio, teaching, conversations, resources, and experiments in public.

My great passions are software, design, and motion. They’ve become the places where I work out how to bring clarity and creativity together, and then share the process so others can do the same.

I love teaching complex topics, and I love making creative tools. I love the art of interviewing, although my podcast is currently on pause until later in 2026.

In a past life I worked as a composer and music producer, and I’ve also spent time in the world of coaching and counselling. Those threads still shape me: the rhythm of music, the search for clarity, and the desire to help others make sense of complexity.
